Improvement
Most jobs require certifications and relevant work experience. To improve graduate employment opportunities, such certificate courses can be introduced (optional) into related courses of study during college and awarded a certificate during graduation. This certificate courses should be affiliated to their relevant professional bodies and serve as a basis to getting certified. Networking is also significant in job searching. The key for success in finding a job is for students to understand what they want to do and focus their job search accordingly, taking advantage of resources such as the Career Center. For students who are nearing graduation, it is compulsory to get work experience related to their major and career interests. Career Coordinator should help students to begin to build their experience through externships, internships, co-op and even part-time jobs. Every apps and online tool applicable in students’ field of major should be introduced early as special electives.
