The Students
WINNER: Popular Vote
Employability is the experience and expertise which is wanted or needed in a candidate by potential employers.
Companies submit projects they require to be solved, faculty assign them to modules and lecturers divide them between the class groups. In groups students will compete against class-mates to become “the students” picked by the employer for having the best ideas and implementation of theory and resources.
Companies get fresh ideas and completed projects or campaigns, while students get experience in projects, presentations, group work in real life competitive situations. They will graduate with a portfolio of work and be an employable candidate.

Effectively proves which students are capable of filling a position within a company and is easily implementable within Napier Uni. Very good idea!

It would be a win win for the university, the students and the employers!! Brilliant idea!

Fantastic idea. However, for this to work there must be an interdisciplinary approach to the group – as often encountered in the real world – in order to achieve the right experience and the way towards business and personal success!

Sounds like a viable project - lots of SME's would find this useful.

Makes a lot of sense, but has to be properly managed and kept in focus for it to be effective.
